We loved the entire day at the Maetaman Elephant camp, Chiangmai

Recommend: Elephant show + elephant riding through jungle and stream, ox cart riding, river rafting + monkey show + Orchid/butterfly farm and lunch buffet at Tiger Kingdom, a day program about 6-7 hours

Fees: 2,450 Baht per person for 2-3 person (if one person = 4,900 Baht) including air-con car/English speaking driver/gasoline/ticket for Elephant show/Elephant ride/oxcart riding/river rafting/monkey show/orchid n butterfly and Lunch

We arrived just in time for the elephant display. I am not a great fan of performing animals but the display was good and showed well the skills of the elephants.

We then had short bullock ride and then a longer elephant ride, This was excellent though down some very steep slopes at times which was a bit scary. Then a very good lunch (slightly to my surprise) and then we floated down the river on a bamboo raft. This only slightly spoiled by the plastic bags in the riverside bushes at the start of the river trip.
