“A must see in Chiang Mai”

Serene with panoramic views on a clear day, the best temple in Chiang Mai.

Best way to visit is by private Taxi, which should cost around 1200 Bhat, and should take you there and back, and wait in air conditioned comfort. For those on a budget there is the red bus option at around 500 Bhat (see xe.com for local currency). Also at the temple is the Jade factory which is also worth looking at,

There is now a cable car to take you to the top, but still interesting to climb the steps at least once.

We got blessed by a monk here and had a chance to walk around with the Thai people praying. It was special.
