My visit to Tiger Kingdom was as unforgettable as I had hoped it would be. I had read many reviews prior to visiting Chiang Mai and this, along with the day with the elephants, was top of my bucket list.
I chose to spend time with the smallest and the largest of the tigers. I still find it hard to believe I was sitting and patting a wild animal. Being a lover of cats, it really was like patting a larger version of my cat at home. I had 4-5 young tigers rolling around in front of me, play fighting up against me, and one lying across my lap.
Sitting behind and along side the adult tiger, you get an appreciation of how big and powerful an animal they are.
I believe they are very well treated by their handlers, and I thought the whole experience was fantastic.
The photos they took I truly wonderful and you would never get anything like their photos.
It was one of the highlights of my visit to Chiang Mai. I certainly will visit again.
