TOUR DESCRIPTION

Get out to the Mae Tang area north of Chiang Mai to get real close to the elephants. Watch the elephants demonstrate their skills at the elephant show before embarking on an elephant ride through forest and river up stopping to a Lisu hill tribe village. After Lunch you will try your hand at ox carting before boarding the bamboo rafts for a leisurely trip down the Mae Tang River. This is an ideal tour for the family and those who do not want to trek up hill and mountain. On the return back to Chiang Mai we will drop in at a Thai Orchid and butterfly farm. If Tigers are your thing and you want to get up close and personal with them then you can take the option to finish the day with a trip to Chiang Mai's Tiger Kingdom..
