- as others said... to start just breath.. dont try to breath in a specific pattern.. just breath deep and relaxed and observe your breathing, the in and out but mostly those little gaps of no exhaling or inhaling..If thoughts are coming dont focus on them, just observe them. Dont criticize yourself of thinking something. Dont try to stop thinking, just observe the thoughts passing.Sometimes when one cannot just be and thoughts are coming all the time it is helpful to visualize.
