The Ambassador to Netherlands announced new innovative plants to show in exhibition

One of the most outstanding highlights of the International Horticultural Exposition Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 is the International Garden participations from 30 countries from around the world with six new countries as follows: (1) Pakistan (2) South Korea (3) Canada (4) Yemen (5), Taiwan, and one organization and (6) Air Asia from Malaysia.  24 countries will be exhibiting for the first time (1) Bangladesh (2) Belgium (3) Bhutan (4). Cambodia (5) China (6) India (7) Indonesia (8) Iran (9) Japan (10) Kenya (11) Laos (12) Malaysia (13) Mauritania (14) Morocco (15) Nepal (16) Netherlands (. 17) Qatar (18) South Africa (19) Spain (20) Sudan (21) Turkey (22) Vietnam (23) Thailand, plus an organization, and (24) Hyogo / Kyoto / Osaka.
The 6 new participating countries exhibiting for the first time here in Thailand will bring exotic plants and culture performances for the Thai people to admire. One such country is Yemen which will be bringing Dorstgig, Dracacin Asplesch and rare plant from the Socotra Islands known for its’ Dragon’s Blood Tree. Canada with model of Niagara Falls and cold climate plants. Pakistan’s most coveted style garden of the Arab Middle East countries. South Korea will bring various garden plants originated from  S. Korea and simulate the natural scenic landscapes of the . Korea right here in Thailand right in the middle of the Rajapruek Park. Taiwan will bring in the native plants of Taiwan (the charm of the east). Malaysia’s eco airline, Air Asia will bring a large aircraft into their beautifully decorated spectacular garden. Along with the new participants, the previous participants will re-renovate their gardens to impress visitors. Especially the Netherlands Garden, the Ambassador to the Netherlands, Embassy to Thailand, His Excellency Mr. Joan A. Boer said that “ Netherlands is very proud to be a part of  the International Horticultural Exposition Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011. This year’s exposition is greater than the previous and it is an opportunity for Netherlands to join Thailand in expressing their loyalty to His Majesty the King of Thailand on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty 84th Birthday Anniversary. Netherlands will take this opportunity to transform their garden to a beautiful and great garden for this particular occasion. Assurance from the Ambassador that the tulip garden will bloom beautifully in time.
As for the participating corporate gardens from Thailand, there will be 23 participants all equally spectacular.  The garden by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand will relate a story of efficient use of natural resources as according to the Royal Speech by His Majesty the King. Simulations of streams flowing from river source is knowledge for the Thais to utilize and sustain community life in the river downstream. Simulations or real life simulation of upland farming and performances from hill tribes of the Royal Project Foundation. In addition there will also be gardens of flowers in full bloom such as the Garden of Dasada and tree planting to reduce global warming and more than 30 varieties of Lilies from Chiangmai Provincial Administrative Organization.
The International Horticultural Exposition: Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 is scheduled from the 9thNovember 2011 to the 15th February 2012 at the Royal Rajapruek Park in Chiang Mai. Mae Hia. Muang.
