I have treasured this restaurant some thirty-five years it has existed in Chiang Mai. Now situated in the historic W.A.R. Wood estate the ambiance continues to be very special. The service is Thai superlative. One is made to feel the most special person in the world. The piano-bass duo is excellent and unintrusive. The atmosphere is opulent French bistro located in a lovely garden as opposed to a noisy boulevard. Best, of course, is the food. The manager does the most delicious Caesar salad prepared at table side I have ever eaten anywhere, including Paris! The same can be said of the Cherries Jubilee for dessert. The menu is extensive, deliciously prepared and presented, and very, very expensive for Chiang Mai, Thailand. Now that I'm a retired academician, I can afford to go only for very special occasions. Be that as it may, even as a visitor to this city, you owe you and your guest this superlative treat. The restaurant will pick you up at your location and return you in a London style cab. Enjoy!
