The Dining Out Group
Coordinated by Paul Schoenkopf
Our next event is on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 7:00PM at Isaan One Million Percent, 100/1 Huay Kaew Road. This has been our favorite Isaan restaurant for many years. It started with one small shop house down the street and I’ve watched them move into their current location then take over the next door and now in three shop houses joined together.
City Life Review
Issan One Million Percent
Comment: Som tam (spicy papaya salad) is arguably Isaan's most famous export. You may end up on the toilet a few hours later with hellfire expediting your body's natural rhythm, but it's worth the risk as this dish simply tastes so good (and you can always plead for fewer chillis - simply point if you don't speak Thai). Of course you can find som tam on just about every street corner in this country, but Citylife's staff has voted this little venue as our favourite because of the rich, fruity tastes complemented by excellent grilled pork and chicken. Address: Opposite the CMU entrance on Huay Kaew Road Time Open: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Telephone: Rating: (4 points from 2 votes)
