Obidos was the highlight of this trip, and the stop there should have been much longer. Make sure to do your souvenir shopping there, as it's definitely the best place for it. We especially loved the art gallery on the little hill leading from the main road down to the first church on the right hand side. Obidos was very charming, and its churches were very ornate.
The lunch in Nazare was ok, and the restaurant was clean (as were the restrooms). The best thing about the restaurant was not the food (vegetable soup - fish - fruit salad), but the fantastic view. Nazare is a tourist town. It was nice to see the ocean, but the city itself is not interesting, and the shopping is bad.
Both the monasteries were nice, although we only got a guided tour of one of them. You have to pay the admission fee at the last monastry yourself if you want to go inside.
The worst part of the trip was the souvenir shopping stop right before Fatima. The bus stopped at the tackiest souvenir shop you can ever imagine, filled with glow in the dark Virgin Mary statues. Gray Line obviously gets payed for making this stop as it lasted 45 minutes!!! Everyone just wanted to get out of there. This time would have been much better spent in Obidos. Those who want glow in the dark Virgin Marys can buy that in Fatima.
The stop in Fatima was way too long. There are two churhes to see + the spot were the Virgin appeared, and everything is right by each other. No need to spend an hour and a half there; half that would have been plenty.
The guide spoke three languages. The tour lasted 10 hours (09:00-19:00).
