Chiang Mai International Music Festival Three Kings Monument 8-10 March 2013
The fifth Chiang Mai International Music Festival will take place at the historic Three Kings Monument in the centre of Chiang Mai’s old city from 08-10 March 2013
The three-day annual event will feature a blend of cultural, traditional and popular entertainment. Professional artists and dance troupes will be flown in from many different countries to form the centrepiece, and provide a beautiful spectacle of colour, rhythm, and movement.
Foreign residents from different parts of the world will operate colourful booths displaying specialties from their homeland. Some residents will perform on stage, creating a huge medley of fun and goodwill. Local businesses, international companies, hotels, and restaurants will occupy other booths, the ensemble guaranteeing three days of enjoyment. Major sponsors and supporters, together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the City Administration, will add to the dynamics, the ambiance, and the publicity.

The music festival is organised by Earth Wind & Fire Company Limited, who have many years of experience in arranging similar events. The most recent was the 2012 International Hot Air Balloon Festival held at Chiang Mai’s Gymkhana Club from 23-25 November, which attracted over 10,000 spectators. Around 15,000 are expected to attend the Music Festival
