We went to the Tiger Kingdom this past March and enjoyed ourselves immensely.
The price structure is set up in a type of "package" type format, a "pay per tiger" type of thing. We played with the cubs, then the 1 yr olds then the 1 and a half year olds. Unbelievable how they grow so quickly. I can't recall the exact amount we paid, around $60 each I believe (approx. 2000 baht), but we found the experience worth the money.
The facility itself appeared well tended to with comfortable amenities for both human and tiger alike. When we arrived on site we noticed a trainer playing with a number of the big cats who were frolicking in some swimming pools in a central courtyard.
The attendants were knowledgable, friendly and spoke very good english. To be honest, I watched closely for a reason NOT to recommend this place as I felt the animals would be mistreated, drugged, etc. All I saw were attendants who truely seemed to love their jobs and the tigers they were caring for. The tigers themselves were playful, lively, bright eyed and bushy tailed :)
We never felt rushed or pushed by the attendants at any time with the exception of the baby tigers...but we would have spent a day there alone if they hadn't moved us on. The attendants took plenty of photos for us with our camera which made for some lasting memories.
No one asked for tips of any kind and if you offered, they would direct you to a tip box that you will find on a wall or fence.
There are some rules but they seemed to be common sense to us. Such things as don't touch their faces or start roughhousing with them. Other than that we got to play with the cubs, pet them, give them belly rubs, etc. I was the subject of a cub attack when 3 or 4 of them decided I'd make a good toy, it was great :)
