The food is unbelievable! I only wish they gave cooking lessons. Order the Chad Jam and Ner Lung for definite. Each mouthful brings a new lovely surprise. The mango sticky rice is strange at first but gets more delicious with each bite. The staff are lovely and it's a nice place to have a few cheap cocktails. It's been the...

I'm a columnist in Salween post magazine (it's about Burmese and ethnic groups from Burma). One day I walked around Thapae road and was attracted by the restaurant.. not because i like Burmese food....but all menus and photos were taken (i mean copy) from one of our cooking book without permission.

We were there during the Songkran festival so things were pretty crazy down by the moat but this little place was like a refuge. The owners really treated us like family which was a welcome change...

The food was amazing, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the location and ambiance perfect. If you're in Chiang Mai you have to try The Swan, you'll love it!

This place is near Thapee gate and easy to find if you're walking toward Mikes Burgers- Just past the Amora hotel- They have a nice garden seating area in back and a cute little bar in front on the street. Fantastic Burmese food, something a little different than all the Thai food we've been eating. The fermented green tea salad...

Oh yes, this was good food. Mmm. The Birmese food was great, fish was lovely, and even the french fries where great. Onlu strawberry smoothy was a disspointment. Friendly staff. Food could come somewhat quiker, but was ok. Its on a busy road, but the tables are in the backyard, with little pond, don't worry. Mostly tourists as viitors, but...
