DK David's Kitchen at 909

The Dining Out Group
Coordinated  By Paul & Nop

The evening at Pho Vieng Chane was great. Almost everybody enjoyed the food and the service was very good considering it was a large group at a restaurant with a small staff. One diner said we should have all the dining out events here.

Although open for only a few months David & Prom seem to have made something very Magical. The food and service second to none, dining within a beautiful setting makes this eating experience a place you would want to visit on a regular basis. Thank you David & Prom Rj Noble

How does someone get to open a restaurant in a magnificent riverside garden owned by Thai royalty? It must have something to do with their charm The hosts/owners, David and Prom, were the soul of hospitality during lunch (which we stretched out to 4 hours!). David's background in theatre makes him the ideal director/producer. The set is a princess' garden...More

Well worth a visit to this New Restaurant just outside of Down Town ChiangMai. I think a day time journey would be great to enjoy the tranquility and lovely setting of this restaurant. You are really made to feel welcome, and there are little touches, which other top restaurants in Chiang Mai should take note of ! BYO is very reasonable...

I have now been here several times since it opened before Christmas, and I will be back many more... David & Prom are delightful hosts, utterly charming, this is their 3rd restaurant in Chiang Mai, the other 2 were both discontinued with the birth of each of their children, so this is their first restaurant in 5 years or thereabouts...More

Ok so as far as food in Thailand goes this place is not cheap. Our Bill came to nearly 3500 Baht. (Including a Bottle of the Fizzy Stuff) However I left feeling as though we'd had complete value for money, A meal of this quality in London would cost twice as much (or more), the portions would be half the...More

Average cost per meal excluding alcohol 1000 baht. Yes, it is a pricey restaurant but worth the money. David will make 3 lower cost entrees a meat entrée, a fish entrée and an entrée for vegans.

Directions:
From Chang Phuak Gate go north on Chang Phuak Road that turns into Chotana Road at the super highway. This is route #107 and is 8.2 kilometers from Chang Phuak Gate to the second ring road or 6.2 kilometers from the super highway to the second ring road. At the second ring road turn right until you cross the bridge over the River Ping (1.9 K). Just after the River Ping Then turn right and follow 1 kilometer and you will see a sign on your right “DK David’s Kitchen”. Turn right and it’s a very long driveway until you see a building on your left. That is the restaurant.
