5 English Food Restaurant in Chiangmai

It was Napoleon who famously labelled the United Kingdom as a nation of shop keepers. Had he had added 'and publicans', he would be spot on. Every village, street or community in the UK would be lost without its local corner shop and pub. Traditionally pubs served up classic British fare to be washed down by the pints on tap _ fish and chips, bergers and mash, pies. However, in recent years this British icon is also becoming more and more famous for its cuisine, with gastro pubs opening up all over Britain and international fare staples on the menus.
This month, we look at some of the best of British pub grub to be found in the city, focusing on the more traditional offerings.

01 The Olde Bell

The Olde Belle serves a wide range of authentic British food including big fry-up breakfasts, steaks 'n' chips, soups, salads, sandwiches as well as value meals starting at a ridiculously sensible 100 baht. Unique amongst other pub food in the city is that they serve up the Brit favourite, Brit-Indian food. A regular watering hole for many expats but also popular with tourists.

Go to Kelly's for home-made honest cooking which isn't going to break the bank.
